Vålerenga IBK

Vålerenga IBK was one of 18 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Vålerenga IBK, 37 other teams from 3 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Vålerenga IBK could be found in Group 1 together with Pixbo Wallenstam IBF, FC Helsingborg, Värnamo IK and 1. MVIL Ostrava. Vålerenga IBK continued to Playoff B after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Bergs IK with 1-8. In the Final, Munka-Ljungby IBK Akademi won over Bjärreds IBK and became the winner of Playoff B in Boys 18. Vålerenga IBK comes from Oslo which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Oslo does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2019 (GIF Fighters, Tunet IBK, Sveiva Innebandyklubb, Lørenskog IB, Ull/Kisa, Drøbak Frogn Idrettslag, SF Grei, Sagene innebandy, Bygdö Monolitten IL and Greåker IBK).
