Lagan IBK

Lagan IBK was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Lagan IBK, 22 other teams from 4 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Lagan IBK could be found in Group 3 together with Frederikshavn Blackhawks, Tunet IBK, FBC Kalmarsund Ungdom 2, Gantofta IBK and Onsala IBK. Lagan IBK continued to Playoff B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Bergs IK with 0-2. In the Final, Tunet IBK won over Bergs IK and became the winner of Playoff B in Girls 13. Lagan IBK comes from Lagan which lies approximately 150 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. Other than Lagan IBK, the club Värnamo IK does also originate from the area around Lagan.
