IBF Backadalen

IBF Backadalen was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to IBF Backadalen, 54 other teams from 5 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof IBF Backadalen could be found in Group 4 together with FbC Hradec Králové POL-SKONE, CL98IC Blå, SF Grei and IBK Lund 2. IBF Backadalen continued to Playoff A after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Snipers Bratislava with 0-2. In the Final, Avalanche won over Växjö IBK U and became the winner of Playoff A in Boys 12. IBF Backadalen comes from Hisin which lies approximately 2 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Hisin does also provide 29 additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023 (Among others: Skår IBK, Lindås Rasta IBK, Särö Seahawks IBK, Stenungsunds IBK, Mölndals IBF, IBK Alingsås, IBF Älvstranden, Pixbo Wallenstam, FBC Partille and Landvetter IBK Wings).
