Rottne IF

Rottne IF was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Rottne IF, 22 other teams from 3 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Rottne IF could be found in Group 3 together with Lindås Rasta IBK, Tunet IBK, Örkelljunga IF and Lindome IBK. Rottne IF continued to Playoff B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Värnamo IK with 2-3. In the Final, FBS Slavia Plzen won over Värnamo IK and became the winner of Playoff B in Girls 14. Rottne comes from Rott which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Rott does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023 (Hovmantorps GOIF, Växjö IBK U, Ingelstad IBK, Hovshaga AIF and Öjaby Sport IBK).
