Hestrafors IF

Hestrafors IF was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Hestrafors IF, 22 other teams from 4 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Hestrafors IF could be found in Group 3 together with FK Florko Košice, Unite Gold and Värnamo IK. Hestrafors IF continued to Playoff B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against KFUM Jönköping with 1-5. In the Final, KFUM Jönköping won over Ingelstad IBK and became the winner of Playoff B in Boys 16. Hestrafors comes from Bollebygd which lies approximately 38 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Bollebygd does also provide 23 additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023 (Among others: Mölndals IBF, IBK Alingsås, Pixbo Wallenstam, FBC Partille, Landvetter IBK Wings, Varla IBK, Rydboholms SK, Pixbo Wallenstam IBF, IBK Bergum/IBK Göteborg and FBC Lerum).
