IBK Göteborg

IBK Göteborg was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to IBK Göteborg, 20 other teams from 4 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof IBK Göteborg could be found in Group 2 together with Florbal Zidenice, Rødovre Floorball Club, IBK Landskrona and Hovslätts IK. IBK Göteborg continued to Playoff A after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Warberg IBF with 1-3. In the Final, Pixbo Wallenstam won over Warberg IBF and became the winner of Playoff A in Boys 18. IBK Göteborg originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 28 additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023 (Among others: Skår IBK, Lindås Rasta IBK, Särö Seahawks IBK, Mölndals IBF, IBK Alingsås, IBF Älvstranden, Pixbo Wallenstam, FBC Partille, Landvetter IBK Wings and Varla IBK).
