Drøbak Frogn Idrettslag

Drøbak Frogn Idrettslag was one of 12 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Drøbak Frogn Idrettslag, 22 other teams from 3 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Drøbak Frogn Idrettslag could be found in Group 1 together with FBC Pitbulls Kolín, CL98IC and Fritsla IF. Drøbak Frogn Idrettslag continued to Playoff B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Sandareds IBS with 1-4. In the Final, KFUM Jönköping won over Ingelstad IBK and became the winner of Playoff B in Boys 16. Drøbak Frogn Idrettslag comes from Drøbak which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Drøbak does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023 (Sveiva Innebandyklubb, Tunet IBK, SF Grei, NOR 92 IBK and Lørenskog IBK/Fjerdingby).
