Ängby IF

Ängby IF was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Ängby IF, 42 other teams from 4 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Ängby IF could be found in Group 2 together with Nittedal Wolves, CL98IC Vit, Ekängens IF and Fagerhult Habo IB Röd. Ängby IF continued to Playoff B after reaching 5:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Rungsted Hørsholm FK with 0-9. In the Final, Träslövsläge IF won over Öjaby Sport IBK and became the winner of Playoff B in Boys 13. Ängby comes from Bromma, Stockholm which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Bromma, Stockholm does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023 (FBI Tullinge and Vendelsö IK).
