Vendelsö IK

Vendelsö IK was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Vendelsö IK, 16 other teams played in Girls 16. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Vendelsö IK could be found in Group 1 together with IBK Hradec Králové POL-SKONE, IBK Lidköping, Fagerhult Habo IB and FBC Partille. Vendelsö IK continued to Playoff B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against FBC Dobruška with 2-5. In the Final, FC Helsingborg won over FBC Dobruška and became the winner of Playoff B in Girls 16. Vendelsö comes from Haninge which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Haninge does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023 (Ängby IF and FBI Tullinge).
