IBK Genarp

IBK Genarp was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to IBK Genarp, 12 other teams from 5 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof IBK Genarp could be found in Group 1 together with IBK Lidköping 1, Lindås Rasta IBK, NOR 92 IBK, CL98IC, TJ Znojmo LAUFEN CZ and UHC Uster. IBK Genarp continued to Playoff A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against IK Zenith with 5-9. In the Final, IK Zenith won over TJ Znojmo LAUFEN CZ and became the winner of Playoff A in Boys 17. IBK Genarp comes from Skurup which lies approximately 270 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Skurup does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023 (Among others: Skurups IBK, IBK Lund P09S, IBK Lund P09L, Malmhaug IBF, Höllviken IBF, IBK Lund, Lomma FBC, Skurups IBK/IBK Genarp, IK Stanstad and Malmö FBC).
