Westerviks IBK

Westerviks IBK was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Westerviks IBK, 54 other teams from 5 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Westerviks IBK could be found in Group 7 together with IBK Kungälv, Frederikshavn Blackhawks, Tranemo IBK and Särö Seahawks IBK. Westerviks IBK continued to Playoff B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Slätafly/Södra Kärrs IBK with 1-4. In the Final, Slätafly/Södra Kärrs IBK won over Stenungsunds IBK and became the winner of Playoff B in Boys 15. Westerviks IBK comes from Västervik which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place.
