Sandareds IBS

Sandareds IBS was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Sandareds IBS, 22 other teams from 4 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Sandareds IBS could be found in Group 4 together with IBK Bergum/IBK Göteborg, FbC Hradec Králové POL-SKONE, SK Florbal Benešov and Ingelstad IBK. Sandareds IBS continued to Playoff B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against FBS Slavia Plzen with 0-6. In the Final, KFUM Jönköping won over Ingelstad IBK and became the winner of Playoff B in Boys 16. Sandareds IBS comes from Sandared which lies approximately 51 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Sandared does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023 (IBK Alingsås, Landvetter IBK Wings, Rydboholms SK, FBC Lerum, Borås IBF, Floda IBK, Hestrafors IF, Fritsla IF, Svenljunga IBK and Kinna IBK).
