In addition to Frölunda IBK, 30 other teams from 5 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Frölunda IBK could be found in Group 6 together with Rungsted Hørsholm FK, Hovshaga AIF, Hovslätts IK, Malmö FBC and Enköpings IBK. Frölunda IBK continued to Playoff B after reaching 5:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against FBC Plzen with 2-5. In the Final, Nittedal Wolves won over FBK Olymp Florbal Achillea and became the winner of Playoff B in Boys 16. Frölunda IBK also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They reached the 1/16 Final in B15 Playoff A, but lost it against CL98IC with 1-4.
