IBF Backadalen

IBF Backadalen was one of 107 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to IBF Backadalen, 54 other teams from 4 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof IBF Backadalen could be found in Group 5 together with Malmhaug IBF, Gnosjö IBK, Tunet IBK and Fagerhult Habo IB svart. IBF Backadalen continued to Playoff A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Växjö IBK U with 0-5. In the Final, Växjö IBK U won over SK Bivoj Litvínov and became the winner of Playoff A in Boys 13. IBF Backadalen also participated in Boys 12 during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They reached the 1/4 Final in B12 Playoff A, but lost it against Snipers Bratislava with 0-2. IBF Backadalen comes from Hisingsbacka which lies approximately 2 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Hisingsbacka does also provide 25 additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2024 (Among others: Hestrafors IF, IBK Kungälv/Surte IS IBK, Frölunda IBK, IK Zenith, Lindome IBK, Ale IBF, FBC Vinga, IBF Älvstranden, Särö Seahawks IBK and FBC Lerum).
