IBK Vänersborg

IBK Vänersborg was one of 107 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to IBK Vänersborg, 29 other teams from 3 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IBK Vänersborg could be found in Group 2 together with Landvetter IBK Wings, Frederikshavn Blackhawks, FBC Kalmarsund Ungdom 1 and Onsala IBK. IBK Vänersborg continued to Playoff B after reaching 5:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against FBC Ljungby with 1-6. In the Final, FBC Lerum won over Bergs IK and became the winner of Playoff B in Girls 14. IBK Vänersborg comes from Vänersborg which lies approximately 76 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Vänersborg does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2024 (Vara IBK and IBK Elfhög).
