Växjö IBK

Växjö IBK was one of 107 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Växjö IBK, 29 other teams from 3 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Växjö IBK could be found in Group 5 together with Kinna IBK, Särö Seahawks IBK, FBC Lerum and CL98IC. Växjö IBK continued to Playoff A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against FBC Kalmarsund Ungdom 2 with 2-3. In the Final, CL98IC won over Warberg IBF 1 and became the winner of Playoff A in Girls 14. Växjö IBK comes from Växjö which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Växjö does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2024 (Hovshaga AIF, Växjö Vipers, Ingelstad IBK, Växjö IBK U and Öjaby Sport IBK).
