Sagene innebandy

Sagene innebandy was one of 17 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Sagene innebandy, 19 other teams played in Girls 15. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Sagene innebandy could be found in Group 3 together with Häljarps SK, Fagerås BK/Grums IBK, Westbo IBK and Lindome IBK. Sagene innebandy continued to Playoff B after reaching 5:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Kinna IBK with 1-2. In the Final, Tranemo IBK won over Warberg IBF and became the winner of Playoff B in Girls 15. Sagene innebandy comes from Oslo which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Oslo does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2017 (SF Grei, Tunet IBK, Baekkelaget, Sveiva Innebandyklubb, Ull/Kisa, Bygdö Monolitten IL, GIF Fighters and Tunet Hotshots).
