Sandareds IBS

Sandareds IBS was one of 121 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Sandareds IBS, 31 other teams from 4 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Sandareds IBS could be found in Group 3 together with Baekkelaget, IBK Moravia, Bjärreds IBK/Lomma FBC and Tungelsta IF Svart. Sandareds IBS continued to Playoff A after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Pixbo Wallenstam IBF with 1-3. In the Final, Jönköpings IK won over IBK Plantagen and became the winner of Playoff A in Boys 18. Sandareds IBS comes from Sandared which lies approximately 50 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Sandared does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2017 (FBC Lerum, Kinna IBK, IBK Alingsås, Floda IBK, IBK Tygriket 99, Fristad GoIF, Svenljunga IBK, Landvetter IBK Wings, Borås IBF / Rydboholms SK and Fristad/Borås Junior).
