Växjö IBK

Växjö IBK was one of 119 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Växjö IBK, 16 other teams from 3 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Växjö IBK could be found in Group 3 together with NOR 92 IBK, Åstorp/Kvidinge IBS, Hovslätts IK Vit, Lindome IBK and IBK Lund. Växjö IBK continued to Playoff A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Fristad GoIF with 1-2. In the Final, Hovslätts IK Röd won over Fristad GoIF and became the winner of Playoff A in Girls 18. Växjö IBK comes from Parkvägen 5 which lies approximately 810 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place.
