Södra Vings IF

Södra Vings IF was one of 116 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Södra Vings IF, 35 other teams from 5 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Södra Vings IF could be found in Group 8 together with Lindås Waves IBK, FBC Engelholm 2 and Fighters, GIF. Södra Vings IF continued to Playoff B after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Hässelby SK with 1-5. In the Final, Skurups IBK won over Åstorp/Kvidinge IBS 1 and became the winner of Playoff B in Boys 16. Södra Vings comes from Hökerum which lies approximately 80 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Hökerum does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2014 (Borås Thunder IBF and Äspereds IF).
