Borås GIF

Borås GIF was one of 119 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Borås GIF, 66 other teams from 4 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Borås GIF could be found in Group 5 together with 1. SC TEMPISH Vitkovice, IBF Göteborg, Västerås IB 2 and IF Ariel. Borås GIF continued to Playoff B after reaching 5:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Varla IBK 1 with 1-6. In the Final, Kärra IBK won over Linköpings IBK and became the winner of Playoff B in Boys 14. Borås GIF comes from Borås which lies approximately 59 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Borås does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2018 (IBK Alingsås, Floda IBK, Kinna IBK, Fristad GoIF, Svenljunga IBK and Rydboholms SK).
