IBK Lockerud

IBK Lockerud was one of 119 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to IBK Lockerud, 31 other teams from 4 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IBK Lockerud could be found in Group 4 together with Sion DDM NG Hradec Králové, Horten Innebandyklubb, Ingelstad IBK, Munka-Ljungby IBK Akademi and IK Zenith. IBK Lockerud continued to Playoff B after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Snipers Bratislava with 1-3. In the Final, Partille IB won over Örkelljunga IF and became the winner of Playoff B in Boys 16. IBK Lockerud comes from Mariestad which lies approximately 160 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place.
