Drøbak Frogn Idrettslag

Drøbak Frogn Idrettslag was one of 14 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Drøbak Frogn Idrettslag, 16 other teams from 5 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Drøbak Frogn Idrettslag could be found in Group 3 together with FBK AS Trenčín, Floorball Club Falcon, Snipers Bratislava and FBC Kalmarsund Ungdom. Drøbak Frogn Idrettslag continued to Playoff B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Floorball Club Falcon with 3-6. In the Final, FBC Kalmarsund Ungdom won over Fritsla IF and became the winner of Playoff B in Boys 17. Drøbak Frogn Idrettslag also participated in Boys 16 during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They reached the 1/8 Final in B16 Playoff B, but lost it against Sandareds IBS with 1-4. Drøbak Frogn Idrettslag comes from Drøbak which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Drøbak does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2024 (Tunet IBK, Nesodden IF, Ellingsrud Tigers, NOR 92 IBK, Sveiva Innebandyklubb and SF Grei).
