Båstads GIF

Båstads GIF was one of 119 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Båstads GIF, 53 other teams from 3 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Båstads GIF could be found in Group 1 together with Florbalová Akademie MB, Sarpsborg IBK, Jönköpings IK and Capricorn IC. Båstads GIF continued to Playoff A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Växjö IBK U 2 with 3-11. In the Final, Tatran Stresovice 1 won over TJ Hraničář Malonty and became the winner of Playoff A in Boys 12. Båstads GIF comes from Båstad which lies approximately 160 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Båstad does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2018 (Örkelljunga IF, FBC Engelholm, Åstorp/Kvidinge IBS and Munka-Ljungby IBK Akademi).
