Örkelljunga IF

Örkelljunga IF was one of 107 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Örkelljunga IF, 25 other teams from 4 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Örkelljunga IF could be found in Group 1 together with Värnamo IK, IK Stanstad, Lindome IBK and IBK Kungälv/Surte IS IBK. Örkelljunga IF continued to Playoff B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Jönköpings IK with 1-3. In the Final, NTS FK NEMSOVA won over Jönköpings IK and became the winner of Playoff B in Girls 15. Örkelljunga IF also participated in Girls 14 during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. They reached the 1/8 Final in G14 Playoff B, but lost it against FBS Slavia Plzen with 2-4. Örkelljunga comes from Örkelljunga which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Innebandy Cup takes place. The area around Örkelljunga does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Innebandy Cup 2024 (FBC Engelholm, Båstads GIF, VV-84 SK Bjuv, Åstorp/Kvidinge IBS and Munka-Ljungby IBK).
